In the year 2000, we blended a leading North American B2B marketing agency with a software company in Canada’s technology hub, Kitchener-Waterloo, with the vision of providing a one-stop source of expertise in the emerging field of online marketing. Immediately, we found our niche in serving dealer groups, retailers, distributors and manufacturers, building digital solutions to meet their customers on any device and screen. Although we’ve intentionally kept our footprint small to remain accessible to our clients, make no doubt about it – our digital DNA is mighty.
Started using YouTube ads to promote our client’s monthly promotions. Attended Orgill’s Spring Dealer Market in New Orleans to meet customers and prospective retailers from the US, Canada, and the Caribbean, a 4-day show that included the Technology Symposium.
2023Added 200th article to our DIY Library. Created a Paint Library for paint-specific articles and topics for client websites. Automatic tracking of phone link clicks for website analytics. Made enhancements to Bongo4U Scam Detection Matrix. First time since Covid, we returned to Orgill’s Spring Dealer Market in Orlando to meet our building and hardware customers and prospects.
2022Published the 160th article in our growing Library of DIY home improvement articles. Bongo4U website tools now include a sticky button widget. Paint & Stain Catalog created for website development. Bongo4U File Uploader updated (decommissioned legacy Adobe Flash). Phone number tracking added to website analytics.
2021Free pandemic communication solutions made available to over 100 clients. Solutions developed for clients to comply with pandemic restrictions such as the Christkindl Market festival where we created an online 24-day Advent Calendar, Online Marketplace of vendors, and a unique Christkindl-in-a-Box. Upgrades made to Bongo4U for mobile user experience. Started offering free monthly Analytics Reports to clients. Our Digital Marketing services grew to include Instagram and flyer program promotions. Social Icons on our websites can now be displayed with custom colours. Repository of reusable Vendor Pages (e.g. Diablo, Napoleon Fireplaces, Napoleon Grills) created for easy website and brand development.
2020Custom lumber chart capabilities added to Bongo4U. Knowledge Base of articles created to make it easy for users to search for help when using or editing their Bongo4U website or Boost catalog. Our most effective Digital Marketing Program yet, launched with 3 different levels of marketing opportunities: Base, Standard & Prime.
2019Emerge2 became the exclusive supplier of support for Boost eCommerce solutions for Orgill dealers. Started writing and publishing home improvement articles that can be automatically added to any Bongo4U website. Digital Marketing services expanded beyond Facebook Ads to include content marketing, Google Business services, Google Ads, and Email Marketing.
2018Bongo4U CMS v4 launched with universal SSL secure support and numerous performance and infrastructure developments.
2017Launched significant enhancements and new features within the Bongo4U system. All new capabilities instantly available to all Bongo4U clients.
2015Implemented quick-to-market strategy and architecture for online client contests.
2014Website Validator makes clients' lives easier, letting them do their own manual or automated website “check-ups.”
2013Emerge2 embraces Responsive Web Design to make websites work across all devices and screens while this new concept was still being debated by the developer community.
2012National Dealer Recruitment Campaigns integrating comprehensive targeted off-line materials with online incentives and sophisticated tracking.
2008Automated Search Engine Optimization (SEO) implemented with customized algorithms in GC and CMS - no website owner involvement required.
2007Foreseeing the importance of SEO and the need to find ways to earn stronger rankings, we built automatically generated Integrated Search Engine Sitemaps into our platforms, as soon as the capability was launched by the major search engines.
2006Bongo4U Content Management System (CMS) launched - at the time, available CMS services were limited in functionality and/or difficult to use - Bongo4U solved these issues out of the gate.

2001Emerge2 awarded a Federal Innovation Grant for its proprietary ecommerce algorithms after building a real-time configurator using regression analysis to model all possible scenarios to determine the best solution for custom ecommerce purchase combinations based upon varying user requirements.
2001Emerge2 launches Galileo Commerce (GC) v2, a flexible, deeply configurable B2B and B2C ecommerce system utilizing “early adopter” technology features few competitors were offering.
2000A leading North American B2B marketing agency (The Reid Group) and software company (The Galileo Group) in Canada’s technology supercluster come together to carve out a niche building custom digital marketing programs for dealer groups, retailers, distributors and manufacturers. The “e-merger” of our unique blend of strategy, creative and technical expertise was sparked by an invitation by Industry Canada for both our companies to represent Team Canada at an emerging technologies trade exposition "MultiMedia Market '99" in Stuttgart, Germany. And, the rest, as they say, is history.
